As the year begins to wind down, we can’t believe our lucky stars!  This was the year we did it.  We finally got our product mix right, enough happy customers, new shipping systems in place and WOWZA what a year we had.

We have a team of about 35 worker bees in Pagosa Springs that help us to keep our costs down by picking up kitted projects and helping with product assembly, labeling, and filling!  This year’s success is in large part due to these buzzing bees.

We have some exciting products in the pipeline including a paraben free version of Retin A, and some super hydrating sodium hyaluronate products packed with raw shea butter and great for traveling.  Watch our blog for more on these.  Estimated ship dates are mid February!

We broke sales records at our farmer’s markets, events, websales and amazon orders.  So THANK YOU for the years of support while we grew, worked out our packaging issues and got our product mix right.

So the good news is that we are quite happy to continue making and filling our botanical creations for years to come.  The bad news is that on a couple of our very popular products, we have to raise prices – (about 10%).  These will hit in January and include 3 products: Glycolic now , Vitamin Serum now , and Squalane .  Mostly these are due to ingredients sky rocketing costs and many of our suppliers going out of business.  For example, just a couple years ago we could purchase bulk golden jojoba oil for about a gallon.  We then paid about to get it shipped here.  Now, it is 5 gallon and shipping is .  So our costs for ingredients have more than doubled.  The costs to get small batches of our specialty ingredients have tripled.  We hope these changes will not dissuade you from shopping with us!  Look for a final big holiday sale close to the end of the year!
