Please take a minute to mark your calenders for our 4th annual open hive.  We are happy to announce our holiday luncheon celebration.  We open the bee hive from 11 – 4pm for an afternoon shopping event with catered lunch and cocktails.  We hope you take a lovely fall afternoon and spend it with us.  You get to shop local, eat some treats, and toast to another day in the Rocky Mountains.

Some of the other guests will include:

Lovely Jill Phillips and her Russia House Collections. She is off shopping the hills of Russia now, so I am sure we will see some lovely new treats from her.

Lynne Vickerstaff will be showing holiday and everyday wear for the sweet little girls in our lifes.  She is the creator of a line of dresses that “grow” with your child.  They have unique ribbon/button combinations that allow each hand made dress to change sizes quickly.  Her vintage fabrics and twirly skirts make the little girls smile from ear to ear.  Little Weedz clothes that grow!

We hope that Annie Jacobi our most talented visual artist will be able able attend.  She is an avid decorator and will be showing her collections of wearable art and the new home crosses.  However, her loving husband Charlie is still have medical issues that may require her attention.  If you have a minute to send her well wishes, we know that she would appreciate that.

The Queen Bee just discovered some very delicious oils and balsamic vinegar blends.  It is called Gourmet Blends and Jeanne and Jeanie will be making their way to Pagosa from Boulder with them.  Our favorites included the Blood Orange Olive Oil and the Fig Vanilla Balsamic.  Yum.  We can’t wait for them to see our pretty little town.

Tess Challis is Pagosa’s own talented author and wellness coach. Quintessence (”Tess”) Challis began her holistic health journey in her late teens. After a lifetime of numerous health ailments (including acne, obesity, strep throat, constant illnesses, anxiety, and depression), she found that a vegan diet along with an “inner wellness regime” of meditation and visualization literally made a world of difference.  She is going to bring copies of her books and will have a couple items for sale including the delicious Raw Cinnamon Rolls that she demonstrated recently at Pagosa Baking Company using superfoods.  If time and space allow she will be doing a free demonstration, too.
